Well i did it. Apart from one gag, all others hit their mark and for the first time I can say I was good throughout. They liked my trekkie and data analyst humour. I think I can say that my worst gig - my 16th - with the same material - was just a statistical outlier.
Can't wait for my next gig.

Don't believe what you've heard. This guy actually is Rowan Finch. This isn't your normal "cook for 3 minutes, stir, cook for another 2 minutes and let stand" comedy. That's right, it has nothing to do with microwaves. Except the micorwave gag, of course. This is comedy that is so high brow, it might swoosh over your head unless you are a professor of something. If not, don't worry, you can still look at Rowan because he's a very handsome man. I suppose handsome is a subjective word. But he is well mannered. And a bit strange. I once saw him accosting some old fellow at the Imperial War Museum. Turned out it was his Dad. So it was OK but I'm not sure it was legal. Strange family.
Rowan could be said to be the politest footballer I've ever met. Almost apologetic in the tackle (no euphemism!) and always comes back and helps pick you up afterwards. That was when I noticed my wallet had gone. To be fair, I like Rowan but I never hang about when he snaps those rubber gloves on!!
I've never seen him live. I've heard this is a good thing. But please go and see him because he needs the dough. Cheers now.

Very true Kevin, very true, except the microwave gag comment, bit about my Dad and the rubber glove thingey. Apart from that everything is accurate - I need the dough, Im very funny and Im exceptionally handsome (according to my Mum).

Well done, Rowan. I'm really happy to hear that your most recent gig went very well. I bookmarked your blog site as I hoped to catch more of your material (which I think is really funny).

Wow - my first follower! Might have to join twitter with all this recent activity and interest I'm getting from the general public. In the last two weeks I've had two comments, that's one a week...you can tell I'm a data analyst.
