In June, after months of planning and delays, I finally got advance notice of when the next Cambridge Volcanology Group meeting would be happening. The CVG is a small group of Cambridge university academics who meet most months to talk about the latest research in volcanology. So three weeks ago, with their lunchtime lecture in full swing I burst in unannounced dressed as Lt. Spock from cult television series Star trek and secretly filmed their reaction. How did they react? Well the covert filming will be played at my show later this year. It’s not to be missed.
I’ve also recently realised that since launching this website potential victims could easily uncover my true, humourous, intentions simply googling my name. So last week I came up with a pseudonym for all future letters – it’s an anagram of my name. Having a name with so few vowels made it difficult to arrange the letters into a realistic sounding name. Here are some of the rejected pseudonyms – the one I chose isn’t much better but it will have to do.
Rejected pseudonyms: Franni Who, Fawn H. Ricon and Franc Howni
