It’s the end of four weeks of deliberating and agonising over which letters should go into my new show. Hoorah! The show could still change as I start rehearsing it, but the changes won’t be anything major. If anything, I might have to cut one or two letters out of the show to ensure a run time of between 45-60mins. Leave them wanting more is the adage I’m aspiring to.
My immediate aims now are to start rehearsing the show and, in parallel to this, start looking for suitable venues to showcase it in. Ideally I wanted to perform it in November, but if this proves to be too tight a timescale, then it will be put back to late January/early February 2010. (I don’t want my show to clash with the run up to Christmas.) It’s a shame I know, but I’ve waited this long, another two months isn’t going to quill me.
